Decontam
Scan an assembly UID to end its lifecycle in decontam. Superseded or decontaminated assemblies cannot be used in packing, sterilisation, stock, or OR picking. The only other exit from sterile processing is put-away to a stock location.

Stock Management
Sterile assembly inventory (child-kit assemblies only). Each row is one UID - use Location for shelf / store and Patient when allocated to a case. Update patient and location from Configuration → Audit (open assembly).
Stock locations
Create Case cart, Specialty cart, Stock location, Operating Room, or Work Station records. Slot format is

Kit maintenance setup
Per the manual, each tray can keep a maintenance counter, a warning threshold, and a current remaining-use value configured against the tray record.

Printer setup
Register facility Zebra label printers on one PC — the system replicates them for the whole facility. Install the SurgiDat Print Driver on each packing PC. Your label printer choice on Packing is saved per user. Packing reports use the browser print dialog (no setup here).
Facility label printers
Set up each Zebra once on one PC with a pet name and LAN IP — SurgiDat saves it to the facility database and replicates the same printer list to every PC at this facility. Printers are not tied to pack station or stock location. Each user picks their active printer on the Packing tab.

IT deployment — ZPL label printing
Two steps: (1) register facility label printers on one PC only (pet name + IP — stored in the facility database; every other PC gets the same list). Check one printer row → Test SurgiDat Print Driver (agent + network; no label). Use row Send test label to print ZPL. (2) install the print driver on each packing workstation.

Steriliser types
Create steriliser types, then define the cycle types available for each type.

Examples: Prevac 134, EO standard, Flash, Leak Test. Mark Biological (Qten) Required on cycle types that need quarantine - this applies to any steriliser running that cycle, not per steriliser or kit.

Create sterilisers or select an existing one to update settings (prefix, span / reset point, last batch sequence, kit location). Allocate cycle types from the list below.

Maintenance records in range
Assemblies in the packed queue older than 30 days (not on a steriliser load) are removed automatically (lifecycle set to decontam). This report lists removals by date range with user and timestamp.
Label products
Roll types allocated to the facility on Configuration. System Admin sign-in required.
Facility default label printer (legacy fallback)
Optional legacy IP used only when no Facility label printers are registered (Administration → Printer setup). Prefer adding named facility printers instead — they are not bound to location.
Facility packing mode
Per-facility setting (uses facility selected on Configuration). When enabled, packing requires a SER/SPDL scan for every assembly and does not consume SER/OS labels. Packers do not see this control — only scan behaviour changes.
SER/OS - assembly label rolls
Ship a roll of 3750 assembly label numbers to the facility. Used when packing with auto-generated assembly UIDs (facilities with label printing). Each packed assembly consumes 1 SER/OS label. Optional SER/SPDL scan at pack uses the SPDL as assembly UID (same number on ZPL kit label) and also consumes 1 SER/OS label. Missing-instrument ZPL sheets also consume SER/OS labels. Remove returns only unused labels to stock; consumed labels stay on record.
SER/SPDL - preprinted label rolls
Each physical roll is 500 labels. Valid roll ranges live in the global SER/SPDL catalog from: (1) legacy vendor CSV import, (2) SER/SPDL Print 4-up generate, or (3) other preprinted batches added to that catalog. None of those are allocated to a facility until you register the roll here (scan any label) or the site first uses a label at packing or Qten (auto-register). Labels are consumed individually when used — not sequential like packing SER/OS rolls. Each roll registers once per site. Remove frees unused labels only; consumed labels stay on record.
